Hot Spots to Celebrate Cinco de Mayo In Grand Junction
This Sunday fun day is Cinco de Mayo time and it's time to celebrate with some hot sauce, I mean with some hot spots.
When I asked where the hot spots were for Cinco de Mayo on Facebook I was excited to find out that there's a lot of things happening.
Why not kick-off the weekend with a pre-party on Friday?
Starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Edgewater Brewery. This benefits scholarships for the Western Colorado Latino Chamber of Commerce and Latino Anglo Alliance.
After the run, there will be an after-party with live music.
The 39th annual Cinco de Mayo celebration held downtown on Main Street between third and seventh starting at 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Fun for the whole family. Car Show, Street Dancing, Arts and Crafts, Live Entertainment, Cultural Dancing, and of course yummy food.
Alright, now it wouldn't be a celebration without at least one tasty margarita, right? I'm not much of a tequila kind of gal but if I were I'd try one at Dos Hombre's in Clifton.
My girlfriend Spring gets hers there and they look really good. I might have to try one on Sunday. Maybe.
