The date is set for one of the more famous races in Western Colorado. The 2017 Land’s End Hill Climb is set for August 11-13 in Grand Junction.

As I have mentioned before I'm a huge race fan. Anything with a motor will do. Boats, trucks, motorcycles, cars, tracks, strips, or mountain climbing I'm good with all of that. I've heard of the Land's End race. Several locals have told me about this annual event and I'm looking forward to taking in my first this summer.

I had no idea of the history. I discovered it's is the third oldest race in the United States behind the Pike’s Peak Climb and the Indianapolis 500! I've been to Indy. I've been to NASCAR races and dirt track competitions but haven't ever witnessed anything like this.
