It hasn't even been a full week since recreational use of marijuana became legal in our great state, and many planned pot shops haven't even opened yet. Still, the demand to get high is, well, high and we may run out of weed sooner than later.

According to TIME:

The two operational pot shops in Pueblo collectively sold $87,000 of marijuana on Jan. 1, per the Pueblo Chieftain, and store owners say if demand persists anywhere near the current high, they’ll be sold out in the very near future. Likewise, Toni Fox, owner of the 3D Cannabis Center in Denver, told the Colorado Springs Gazette that a sellout is imminent. “We are going to run out,” she said on Thursday, Day 2 of legal-recreational-marijuana sales. “It’s insane. This weekend will be just as crazy. If there is a mad rush, we’ll be out by Monday.”

I knew this could be a problem with weed. It's not like beer where if you run out you can just whip up another batch... This stuff has to grow!

Maybe there is another state that could help us out? Or better yet, remember like a week ago when you couldn't just go to a store and buy it? How did you get it then? Yea! Hit that guy up, he probably could use the cash! Plus he is probably cheaper... In some cases, stores have been charging $50 or even $70 for an eighth of an ounce that cost medical users just $25 the day before. And taxes add on an extra 20% or so!
