Green Works Hydroponics Free Class
If the recent nice weather hasn't got you thinking spring, I'm not sure what's wrong with you. However, it does look like things are cooling off this weekend and perfect to head down to Montrose and Green Works Hydroponics FREE growing class.
Growing all starts with seeds, right? Makes sense that this Saturday's class is all about seeds. The last Saturday of every month they offer a free class at 1 pm. This Saturday's expert is a certified botanist from the University of Hawaii. The class will feature lessons on seed starting and cloning. The class also covers everything you need to know about how to cut the plants properly for good rooting and how to get you seeds to germinate.
Green Works Hydroponics is a family operation. Tammie and her Veteran Father run the store alone with the assistant manager, Skye.
They are your local go to shop for all your organic growing needs. They're also involved in the Veterans community. They support the Welcome Home Montrose Organization and Warrior Resource Center. As well as The Elks Lodge Vets programs.
Their friendly staff has a diverse knowledge in organic, sustainable, agricultural, indoor, outdoor, hydroponic, aeroponic and greenhouse gardening. Their soils are only stored indoors, which is essential to keeping pests under control with indoor gardening.
Every Tuesday they offer 10% off all in-stock inventory and a free gallon of our Living Compost Tea (brewed on site fresh daily) to all of our current and past military persons.
So think "Spring" and get down to Green Works Hydroponics for their FREE class and get to know the crew.
