Where did this holiday come from? Saturday, February 3, we observe "Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day." Where do you plan to celebrate?

How did we miss this one? According to the website Holiday Insights, this "holiday" was created to combat the winter blues.

A mom in Rochester, NY. decided it was time to give her kids something to look forward to, other than another day of gray skies and snowfall. So, she created this day with her two young boys. It sure did the trick, if only for a little while.- Holiday Insights

How about breakfast in bed? Sounds good, doesn't it? Yes,you could go to the store or the creamery and buy ice cream and take it home. That's one possibility. Then again, you could take the entire family out for an ice cream breakfast. Where's the best place to go?

Right off the top of your head, one popular ice cream joint comes to mind. Then again, every fast food chain in the business offers ice cream in one form or another.

If you had your pick of any one ice cream in Grand Junction, regardless of price, or for that matter, business hours, where would you go. I haven't checked lately, but I doubt Dairy Queen is open at 6 a.m.

We're kicking this one off a bit early so as to have the results in hand when Saturday, February 3 rolls around. Cast your vote below. If we missed your favorite venue, write them in and we'll add them to the list.
