Have you spotted either of these motorcycles in or around Grand Junction? There have been a number of thefts around the valley, and these bikes are two of the more recent items to vanish.

According to the post on Nextdoor.com, these motorcycles were stolen right off a trailer parked behind a Grand Junction residence at 15th and Grand.

Take a look at the recent string of thefts in the area involving motorcycles, bikes, and trailers. In the last few weeks, we've shared information regarding the theft of numerous bicycles and helmets from a storage trailer at 1101 Winters Avenue. We also posted about the theft of two very valuable trailers. These items are being taken right out of the driveways of private residences.

In the case of the recently stolen motorcycles, they are described as:

Green Motorcycle

  • 2002 Kawasaki KLX110
  • FMF exhaust
  • Monster sticker on the side

Red Motorcycle

  • 2001 Honda XR100r
  • New Pro Taper Bars
  • #24 on the number plate

These items represent someones hard work and savings. They would appreciate getting them back. Unfortunately, as the owner fears, they are probably long gone.

If you happen to encounter either of these, please get in touch with local law enforcement. This theft reflects what appears to be a trend developing in the area. While you're at it, make sure your bikes, motorcycles, trailers, and other recreational items are securely stored.
