Colorado's statewide mask order will continue into at least October.

At a press conference on Friday, September 11, 2020, Colorado Governor Jared Polis said he plans to extend the mask order another 30 days. The statewide mask order was first put in place on July 16.

This is the second extension of the Governor's mask order. It was first extended on Aug. 12. The order was set to expire this weekend.

From the press conference:

It's working, it'll likely continue another 30 days. We want to end it as soon as we can, but it allows all this progress we're making...

We look forward to the day the fire bans are ended and the mask requirements are ended and we can party all night long...
