Gov. Jared Polis and First Gentlemen Marlon Reis have tested positive for COVID-19.

Polis announced the news on his Twitter account Saturday (Nov. 28), stating that he and Reis "are both asymptomatic, feeling well, and will continue to isolate at home."

The pair had already been quarantining, following exposure on Wednesday (Nov. 25).

"No person or family is immune to this virus," said Polis. "I urge every Coloradan to practice caution, limit public interactions, wear a mask in public, stay six feet from others, and wash your hands regularly."

Polis will undergo close monitoring and work remotely until he is cleared.
