The Mesa County Public Libraries want four-year-old children to see for themselves that 'Giraffes Can't Dance.'

Well, at least that's what the book By Giles Andreae and Guy Parker-Rees says. Four-year-old children are invited to pick up a free copy of the book at any Mesa County Libraries location.

'Giraffes Can't Dance' is this year's choice for the One Book 4 Colorado campaign and the free copies are made available to encourage preschool aged children and their families to read together.

The book has both English and Spanish language versions and are available through April 25. In past years, Mesa County Libraries have given away around 3,000 copies of the One Book 4 Colorado selection.

Children and parents picking up a copy of the book can also get information about library story time events that coincide with the giveaway.
