Cargo Ship Runs Aground on Delaware River [Video]

A couple of guys were fishing on the banks of the Delaware River in Burlington, N.J., when they noticed that a cargo ship going down the river had appeared to get a little off course.

Luckily for us, they pulled out a cell phone and started recording.

The massive tanker, measuring more than 600 feet long, ran aground, Philadelphia's WPVI-TV reported.

The ship stopped just feet from a pedestrian walkway near the Burlington-Bristol Bridge.

It took three tugboats and 20 minutes to pull the Liberian cargo ship Agia Irini out of the mud, where it was then sent downriver to a port for further investigation, authorities said.
