Grand Junction Welcomes Foreigner To the Amphitheater Stage

Fourteen years ago, they were part of one of western Colorado's most iconic nights of rock and roll and they are finally coming back to do it again.

It was September of  2007 when Foreigner was on the Rock Jam stage along with Styx and Def Leppard. Maybe you were there. It was a night of incredible music and entertainment I will never forget. All three bands were absolutely electric on stage.

Besides the fact, the band sounds fantastic, an evening with Foreigner is so great because they can play hit after hit - after hit - and you know them all. Foreigner scored no less than 16 top 30 hits in the 70s and 80s, many of which have become rock and roll radio staples.

Foreigner Comes to Grand Junction July 31

We've had some amazing shows at the Amp like Toto and Blue Oyster Cult and we are about to add another one to the list. Circle the date Saturday, July 31 on your calendar and don't plan to be anywhere but the Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park. The Greatest Hits of Foreigner Tour comes to Grand Junction, and it's going to be one of the biggest concert events of the year in the Grand Valley. It's high energy, top-quality rock and roll music from an iconic band, and in case you can't tell, I am extremely excited about this concert.

Of course, Mick Jones has been with the band since the beginning, and Kelly Hansen has been doing lead vocals since 2005.  Hansen is an amazing rock and roll singer with a voice that will make you think he's been there all along. He is that good.

Tickets for Foreigner's Grand Junction appearance go on sale Friday, April 23, 10:00 a.m. at Ticketmaster.com. However, with our special promo code, GREATEST HITS, you can be first in line to get tickets on Thursday, April 22 at 10:00 a.m. via Ticketmaster.
