A sad, and what seems to be unprovoked, attack on a dog happened in Lakewood on Wednesday and police are looking for the suspects.

Denver7 has the story on how Lakewood Police are looking for two people who shot a dog on Wednesday (August 5, 2020) morning at around 7 a.m. near the Lakewood Country Club, off of 10th Street and Wadsworth Boulevard.

The two got out of the car that they had parked (a Chrysler 300) and headed over to the dog. The male suspect, according to Denver 7 and Lakewood Police, held the dog down while the female suspect shot the dog.

The male is described as Hispanic or caucasian with brown or black hair, last seen wearing blue jeans and a black shirt. The female is described as Hispanic or caucasian with blonde hair, last seen wearing blue jeans and a black shirt.
