This week, Crime Stoppers of Mesa County needs your help to solve a recent crime. Take a look at the accompanying photo images and see if you can identify the
male subject recorded in the surveillance video. You can see the recording on the Crime Stoppers website.
Sometime between 12:00 and  12:30 pm on Wednesday, July 24th, a male subject
entered the south ballroom at the CMU University Center at 1455 N.
12th Street. While inside the ballroom, the suspect removed a black Hewlett
Packard laptop valued over $1,100. Video surveillance captured a Hispanic
male approximately 18-25 year old, with short dark hair and a goatee
wearing plaid shorts, white sleeveless t-shirt and blue tennis shoes. The
suspect left the campus on a silver BMX style bicycle.
