Country Time Lemonade Comes To The ‘Ade’ Of Young Entrepreneurs
A few weeks ago, we told you a story about young kids in Denver having their lemonade stand closed down for lack of a permit.
Country Time Lemonade has heard this and other stories like it so they are taking action.
The kids, as you may recall opened the stand to try and raise funds for Compassion International and were told by police that, because they had no permit, they couldn't sell their lemonade on the street. This information was, of course, faulty, but nevertheless, they had to take their stand down.
Well now if something like that occurs, kids have a place they can go for help.
It's the Country Time Legal Ade program and it is set up for kids and will reimburse them up to $300 for permits and fines if any.
The young boys were undeterred when moved from the street. They set up a Go Fund Me page and received nearly $2,000 from caring individuals who believe in seeing kids succeed.
So if you're wanting to set up a lemonade stand with your kids, make sure you can, but know that if you get fined, "ade" is not far away!
