Country Jam Day Two Stats: More MIPs, Fights + Arrests
The Mesa County Sheriff's Office released their stats for arrests and citations during the second day of Country Jam. Here's what went down.
There were several calls made that the MCSO responded to which included intoxicated subjects, disturbances, fights and an assault that led to individuals being removed from the festival grounds.
Mark Barniville, 39, of Grand Junction was arrested in the festival area for Second Degree Assault on a Peace Officer (Class 4 Felony).
The MSCO issued the following infractions:
At the Festival
- Minor in Possession = 11
- Procuring Alcohol to a Minor = 2
- Fake ID = 13
In the Campgrounds
- Minor in Possession = 25
- Procuring Alcohol to a Minor = 3
- Fake ID = 5
- False Reporting = 2
- Allowing Another Person Use ID = 1
In the Parking Lot
- Minor in Possession = 0
- Procuring Alcohol to a Minor = 0
Emergency services helped 66 patients, with for of them needing a transfer to the hospital.

- 14 dehydration
- 28 traumas
