The data is based on how many people have passed away at the park in the last 10 years and how, according to The Denver Channel. Here are the national parks in Colorado and Utah that are among the top 10 most dangerous national parks.
#8 - Rocky Mountain National Park - Colorado
Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado is the eighth most dangerous park in the nation.49 people have passed away in the last ten years. According to The Denver Channel, 18 of those deaths were from falls. Rocky Mountain National Park has over 4.5 million visitors every year.
#10 - Zion National Park - Utah
Zion National Park in Utah is the tenth most dangerous park in the nation, according to Outforia. According to the National Park Service, Zion National Park had 4.4 million visitors in 2019. There have been 43 deaths at Zion and 22 of those deaths were due to falls.
