Further testing has revealed the town of Hugo's water supply is not contaminated with TCH as was indicated last week.

According to The Cannabist, Lincoln County officials believe the initial test kits produced false positives indicating the presence of THC in the water.

Residents of the community of Hugo in east central Colorado had been warned not to drink the water, but that warning was canceled on Saturday.

Initial tests apparently came from one particular well, which officials believe may have been tampered with and are conducting an investigation. There have been no reports of illness or symptoms related to drinking the water.

It has been questioned whether or not it's even possible for water to be dangerously contaminated by insoluble THC, but, Hugo residents are being assured their water is completely safe.
