Authorities are seeking help in locating a Colorado man that has been missing for roughly two months.

The man, 18-year-old Luke Starling went missing on February 6th, 2021, from his home in Durango, Colorado. According to his roommates, Starling walked away from the back deck of his home just southwest of Durango at around 3:30 p.m. on February 6th, located on Panorama Drive in a subdivision known as Rafter J, and has not been seen since.

La Plata County Sheriff's Office spokesman Chris Burke had this to say about the case:

It's not like him, according to those that know him, to just walk away like this.

Burke also made a note that foul play is not suspected. However, the La Plata Sheriff's Office has been conducting searches ever since Starling went missing, the latest of which was conducted by the La Plata County Search and Rescue team, a K-9 unit, and a drone on February 29th but the searches ended up being unsuccessful in locating Starling.

Although foul play is not suspected, it has been reported that Starling left the home without his wallet, thus making it more difficult for authorities to discover his whereabouts because of the lack of ability to track his credit card records.

Starling's roommates stated that they didn't suspect anything odd in his demeanor prior to his disappearance, and that simply walking away from the home was not something that he would just do.

Starling is described as five-foot-nine inches in height, weighing roughly 180 pounds with dark hair and brown eyes with a tattoo on his right wrist. Authorities are urging anyone with any information about his whereabouts to call (970) 382-7018.
