While many Coloradans have fond memories of the Denver Broncos winning back-to-back Super Bowls in the late 1990s, no Colorado town takes high school football more seriously than Pueblo.
Pueblo, Colorado is home to the massive Dutch Clark Stadium as well as two fierce rivalries between four high school teams. One of these rivalries is between the Central Wildcats and the Centennial Bulldogs and Puebloans come out in droves to see these two teams face off each year in the annual Bell Game.
While the outcome of this year's Bell Game wasn't necessarily a surprise, the newspaper that came out the following morning certainly was.

The Pueblo Chieftain has been the paper source for the Steel City's news for many years, which is why it was even more shocking for Puebloans to wake up to a headline that confused the schools with their teams.
The Bell Game saw the Central Wildcats claim victory over their longtime rivals, the Centennial Bulldogs, but as you can see above, that isn't exactly what was reported.
According to the Pueblo Independent News Facebook page, the Pueblo Chieftain has changed ownership numerous times in the recent past which may explain, but not excuse, the faux-pas.
