Unique Bar, Coffee Shop + Food Truck Park Coming to Colorado Soon
As time goes on, we seem to see a lot of old, rundown buildings and neighborhoods have life breathed back into them, especially in parts of Denver, Colorado. One business that plans to open in the near future not only fits this scenario but will also be the first of its kind in Colorado.
Keep scrolling to learn about the coffee shop, bar, and food truck park that will be opening its doors in downtown Denver soon called Full Tank Food Park.
What's the Story Behind Denver Colorado's New Food Truck Park?
Our story begins in 2017 when a man by the name of Danny Newman purchased an old gas station at 4200 West Colfax Avenue. The building, which was originally purchased by a mining company in 1922, almost became a tiny motel with just two rooms, but Newman's plans changed once COVID came along.
Newman became intrigued with the food truck parks he'd come across in cities like Portland and Austin and decided to convert his old gas station into Colorado's first of its kind.
What Will Denver Colorado's Food Truck Park Be Like?
The Full Tank Food Park will open in three phases with the first mobile food vendor opening up shop at the location set to be Moonflower Coffee, a popular coffee cart in Denver.
In addition to the coffee shop, there will be a lounge area with tables, chairs, and even couches, as well as a large dining space, a community workspace, and eventually a bar. The lot in which the building sits is large enough for as many as six food trucks to park at a time.
When Will Denver Colorado's Food Truck Park Open?
As mentioned above, the Full Tank Food Park will open in three phases. The first phase will kick things off on Friday, October 13th from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and will feature live music, adult beverages, and of course, food trucks.
Phase two will see the parking lot become filled with food trucks and is slated to be completed around late October or early November, then the final phase will see the Full Tank Food Park open up the bar, following being granted a liquor license.
