In fact, near the small town of Center, Colorado sits an actual UFO watchtower dedicated to just this purpose.
While alleged UFO sightings have taken place all over the Centennial State for many years, a hiking duo recently took a photo atop Longs Peak only to discover that they may not have been alone in their travels.
Hikers in Colorado Capture Image Resembling Alien Life Form
The hikers, two best friends named Jessee Clauson and Camille Avarella, captured numerous moments during a hike up Longs Peak on video and still photographs.
After they returned home from the excursion and looked over their photographs, the women noticed something strange in the background of one of the pictures that resembled a long, skinny, extra-terrestrial body on one of the rocks in the distance.
Upon making this discovery, Clauson and Avarella notified local park rangers just in case they did capture an alien life form on their hike.
However, after the photo went viral, experts debunked the claim that the supposed body was a living being, but rather a coincidental shape that is part of the rock formation and shows up only when the light hits it just right.
Take a look at the video above and decide for yourself.
