These Colorado flamingos are celebrating Pride Month at the Denver Zoo. Flamingos Lance Bance and Freddie Mercury have been in love for several years now.
June is LGBTQ Pride Month and these male lovebirds at the Denver Zoo are celebrating with love. Denver Zoo has two lovebirds who are a same-sex flamingo couple and are absolutely adorable together.
The Chilean flamingo, Lance Bass, and the American Flamingo, Freddie Mercury, have been in love for several years according to the Denver Channel.
They're both named after great musicians and as you can see by looking at the Denver Zoo's pictures here, the names clearly suit them. (Lance Bass = member of *NSYNC and Freddie Mercury = frontman of Queen.)
This gay flamingo couple isn't able to reproduce, but they can be a surrogate. Lance Bass and Freddie Mercury can act as a surrogate to a chick if the breeding pair is unable to care for the chick, according to the Denver Channel.
