Colorado Casino To Offer ‘Free Dealer School’
Colorado's Monarch Casino in Black Hawk is growing and looking to hire.
If you need a job or looking to change careers, here's your chance to break into the gaming industry. The casino west of Denver is expanding its gaming by adding about 30 gaming tables. That addition will require an additional 150 dealers to work the blackjack, craps and roulette tables.
Around casinos, 'risk' is the name of the game. The odds are stacked in their favor. Let's face it, all those beautiful casinos and fabulous hotels aren't built without patrons losing more than their winning. Monarch Casino is looking to make you a 'winner', guaranteed. Steve Zlobin, the table games manager at Monarch, says the casino is opening a dealing school and it's free. All you need to do is pass and you're guaranteed a job! “We’re the first casino in the market that’s offering a free dealer school that we are running ourselves,” continued Zlobin.
The school requires 120 hours of training. If you complete the course and then pass the 'final' you'll be offered a job dealing. The money's pretty good too. Part-time dealers can earn from $30,000 and $35,000 a year. Full-time dealers can earn as much as $50,000 and $60,000 annually!
Dealing cards and working the tables, not your thing? No problem. The casino is also looking to hire an additional 1,000 employees to fill other positions. You can find out more info on the casino's website by clicking HERE.
