Colorado claims many distinctions, including being home to the healthiest residents and some of the highest places on earth, but new research shows something that may be disappointing to those who live here.

It turns out that in 2025, Colorado ranks pretty low when it comes to how attractive its residents are.

Despite being the healthiest overall, Colorado's residents have been ranked pretty low on the national scale of attractiveness.

In fact, new research puts Coloradans at a disappointing 34th out of 50 when it comes to attractiveness.

Which of Colorado's Neighboring States Have More Attractive Residents?

In case that wasn't bad enough, the proverbial knife gets twisted when we look at where some of Colorado's neighboring states landed on the list.

For example, Utah was ranked slightly better at 30th out of 50 on the attractiveness scale, while Kansas was put at 25th place, Oklahoma at 9th place, and the study shows that Colorado's northeastern neighbor, Nebraska, is the 4th most attractive state in the nation.

Which of Colorado's Neighboring States Have Fewer Attractive Residents?

Luckily, the study does show that Colorado isn't the least attractive state in the region.

The research shows that New Mexico is slightly less attractive overall, sitting at 36th place, followed by Arizona, which was named the 38th most attractive state, and Wyoming sits near the absolute bottom of the list at 47th place.
