Plus it's less than two hours away.

It's nice to get away, especially in 2020, isn't it? Although this year has thrown a wrench in many of our big travel plans, there are still ways to take a little vacation. Hubby and I actually did a long weekend in a cabin a few months ago and loved it. Looking back, it sounds bizarre to leave our home of isolation where it's just the two of us to stay in another form of isolation where it's just the two of us, but pay for it.

Whatever we loved it.

I recently stumbled upon this Airbnb in Golden, Colorado that is pretty much an adult playground. It's described as a "Boho Chic Log Cabin with Zipline." It. Looks. Amazing.

It's a studio cabin with one bedroom and one bathroom, meant for two guests. I say "meant" because I'm a firm believer in air mattresses and sleeping bags. The facility has a wood burning stove and a cozy loft with a skylight. Someone could easily sleep up there too.

Now, to the fun part.

Outside you'll find a massive deck with a grill and chairs. There is also an upper deck connected to the loft with a slide and rope bridge. The bridge takes you to the "treehouse" platform and the zipline. It's the jungle gym you miss from your childhood, but can now experience as an adult... which means no one can tell you when it's time to go home.

This cabin is rated 4.99 and costs $176/night.
