Hungry? Try California’s Caviar-Dispensing Vending Machine
Great news, readers! The over-priced, stomach-turning (but for some reason decadent) meal known as caviar is now available via vending machines.
The company Beverly Hills Caviar recently unveiled the first ever touchscreen vending machine, located at the Burbank Towne Center. The machine offers "a large selection of the world's finest selection of caviar, truffles, escargot, bottarga, blinis, oils, Mother of Pearl plates and spoons, gift boxes and gourmet salts." We agree, it's a very odd mix of items.
That's all well and good, but we're still left wondering: who is going to pay anywhere from $50 to $500 at a vending machine? Also: does it sell Twix?
As one passerby cleverly observed: "Yeah, I can think of probably better things I can buy out of a vending machine than fish eggs."
