A Canadian couple’s breakfast cereal business is booming thanks to the name “Holy Crap”. Brian and Corin Mullins developed their gluten-free, vegan, organic cereal to deal with Mr. Mullin’s allergies. They originally called it “Hapi Food” until one of their first customers said: “Holy Crap this is good” they changed the name and sales increased 1000%.

They got international attention when they sold the cereal from a kiosk during the 2010 Vancouver Winter Games and found that customers were re-ordering from their web-site. The cereal then appeared on the Canadian version of Drangons’ Den and “Holy Crap” was named the successful business to be featured on the show. “Holy Crap” is now sold in more than 2,000 stores in Canada and the Mullins are bringing “Holy Crap” to America. Be on the look out for “Holy Crap” cereal coming to a store soon.
