Broncos Beware the Trap on Thursday Night

Thursday night the freshly minted AFC West Champions the Denver Broncos will pay a visit to the Black-Hole to take on their arch-rival the Oakland Raiders. The Broncos have the 5^th best offense and the 3^rd best defense (Von Miller has 15 sacks) in the NFL compared to Oakland’s offense which is 13^th and their defense which is 28^th in the league. Payton Manning has the second best passer rating while Carson Palmer is 20^th this season, so the Broncos should win the game easy, but Thursday Night is a trap game for the Broncos.

Denver has just 4 games left in the season, Thursday in Oakland then on December 16^th they pay a visit to Baltimore to play the Ravens and wrap up the season at home against the Cleveland Browns and the Kansas City Chiefs. When you look at it the only real tough game is the Ravens game, but Denver shouldn’t over-look this Oakland game. The Raiders ALWAYS play the Broncos tough (Oakland leads the series 60-44-2) and the truth is the Broncos VS Raiders is one of the best rivalries in the NFL. If Denver has their sights on that Ravens game the Raiders will beat them on Thursday.
