While most know about the haunted Stanley Hotel from its appearances in films, and you may have even stayed in a hotel in Lakewood that's full of dinosaur bones, a lesser-known hotel in Monte Vista, Colorado, that doubles as a drive-in movie theater should certainly be on your radar as well.

Colorado is Home to a Hotel with a Drive-In Movie Theater

The hotel is known as the Best Western Movie Manor and is located at 2830 US-160 in Monte Vista. Years ago, the small Colorado town was home to the Star Drive-In, and while its screens and overall layout are still intact, it's the hotel that makes it especially unique.

The hotel and drive-in combo has two large screens that are fully visible via large picture windows in each room. Guests have the option of viewing the films from the comfort of their hotel beds, or they can get the full drive-in experience by pulling their cars up to the old parking spots and using one of the old-timey speakers that are still on the property and functioning.
