The Via Ferrata at Colorado's Royal Gorge is Not for the Acrophobic
Just down the way from the Royal Gorge Bridge is something called a via ferrata, which is the Italian term for "iron path."
The Via Ferrata at Royal Gorge is a narrow walking bridge accompanied by cables and handrails that gives a unique experience to those looking for even more of a high-adrenaline experience at the famous attraction.

The Via Ferrata experience at Royal Gorge was installed just last year, and there are three different options based on how advanced of an experience participants wish to have.

Prices for the Via Ferrata experience range from $100 to $185 per person and are each accompanied by varying hikes and climbs based on difficulty and duration.
Tours are led by experienced guides, and access to any of the Via Ferrata experiences includes entry to the Royal Gorge Bridge as well.
