Amazon’s Colorado Center Hiring 1,500 Full-Time Employees Right Now
Are you in the market for a new gig? Do you mind relocating? Amazon announced it has begun hiring 1,500 full-time positions at their new center in Thornton, Colorado.
Applications are being taken now through Friday, July 20. According to The Denver Channel, the job positions are for the company's new 900,000 square foot robotics fulfillment center.
The nearly 900,000 square-foot facility opens this fall, and it will be Amazon’s first robotics fulfillment center in Colorado.
What's in it for you? According to Amazon's webpage, pay starts at $12 an hour. They also make mention of a "comprehensive benefits package." What does that imply? Your guess is as good as mine.
Personally, I would love it if you would apply for this job. They need you. I've ordered from Amazon precisely one time in my life. I cashed in my credit card rewards points and ordered a dust buster. You remember dust busters, the little hand held vacuum cleaners. Take a look at the way it was packaged and shipped.
Seriously, that's a dust buster in the little box inside the giant box. The larger box is more than big enough to ship a trash compactor. Why do they do this? This is why it's imperative you go to work for this company. The madness must stop. Do it for my sake.
How do you apply? You can either apply online or in person at Amazon's Westminster location at 11860 Pecos Street, Suite 2200. You can apply in person through Friday, July 20, 2018. Walk-in hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Even if you apply in person, you'll still need to start the application process online.
What do you have to lose? It certainly won't hurt to check out the online application. If nothing else, isn't it nice to hear that 1,500 jobs are coming to Colorado?
