Skiing + Snowboarding

The most popular answer was skiing. Tammy Smith on our Facebook and says she's lived in Colorado for 48 years and has never been skiing. Amber has lived in Grand Junction her entire life and has never been skiing or snowboarding. While there are plenty of places to go skiing and snowboarding in Colorado we can understand why so many people haven't tried it -- it's expensive.

Mount Garfield + Hanging Lake

A lot of people in Grand Junction has never hiked Mount Garfield or Hanging Lake. Candice Joy Henthorn says she's never hiked Mountain Garfield and she's lived in Colorado for seven years. JOanna Earich commented on our Facebook and says she's lived in Colorado for 19 years and has never hiked Mount Garfield or seen Hanging Lake.

Rocky Mountain Oysters

Grand Junction hasn't tried Rocky Mountain oysters and has no plans to. Julianna Faktor-Wise on our Facebook says she's lived in Colorado 18 years and has never tried Rocky Mountain oysters and never will.

Pikes Peak + More

Erin Leigh Noah has lived in Colorado for 41 years and says she's never been to the top of Pikes Peak. Pikes Peak is the highest summit of the southern Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. Some more responses we received were:

  • Adam Cochran: Lived in Colorado for 40 years and has never been to the nice part of Clifton
  • Celia Shroder: Lived in Colorado for 17 years and has never been to Rocky Mountain National Park
  • Jessica Mary: Lived in Colorado for 22 years and has never been to Casa Bonita
