Denver street artists have been busy brightening the urban landscape for decades by making canvases of the city’s alleyways, building exteriors, warehouses, garage doors, and storefronts. But just because Denver's streets are currently empty doesn't mean we can't enjoy the creativity and beauty these artists have displayed.

I had heard about Denver's bustling art scene, but I had no idea what I was in for. One early morning, after seeing Garth Brooks at Empower Field (in the days of pre-pandemic life), I decided to take advantage of the lack of people and traffic and cruise the streets in an art scavenger hunt. It turned out it was well worth the early hour, too, because I was stopping every 10 seconds to jump out and take photos.
