I want to make something clear. I really don't care what people think of stuff I enjoy. I like what I like and if others think it's stupid, then tough. But, there are a few things I avoid bringing up because I know very few people would understand - and yes, almost certainly ridicule. Here they are in all their embarrassing glory.

5. Speed Racer

I was a child of the 70's and watched Speed Racer every day after school. I can even lip sync the words for just about every character on the show including Chim-Chim the monkey.

4. Pixar movies

Blame this one on my kids. I like pretty much all of the animated Pixar movies. Yes, Cars, Toy Story, all of them. Even if my kids are busy doing something else, I'll watch one. Sue me.

3. Chick flicks

I want to say right now that my all-time favorite movies are Tombstone and Diehard, so I'm not a cream puff. However, I used to watch a ton of girl movies. Sandra Bullock, Meg Ryan, all the usual suspects in romantic comedies. Here's an embarrassing fact. When it first came out, I went to the theater to see "While You Were Sleeping" FIVE DAYS IN A ROW. OK, I need help.

2. The Left Behind books and movie series

Yes, I like the Left Behind movies. And, no, not the Nicholas Cage one. Yes, the ones starring Kirk Cameron. I know they're cheesy, but who cares. I like them. What are you gonna do about it?

1. Stryper

I love Stryper. No, it's not cool to listen to Stryper apparently, but I don't care. I have bought every album dating back to 1984 and have even received a letter from their mother. (True story) And, I have plans to buy their new album "Fallen" which is coming out in October. I saw Stryper live back in 1988 during the big hair and spandex days and it was the loudest show I've ever been at and I've been to a ton.
