A legal battle that took a woman half a decade to fight ended in her favor. In 2007 a federal employee in Australia found herself injured while having sex in a hotel room on a business trip. Now she's been given her second money shot.

The woman met up with a friend with benefits after dinner and went back to the hotel room the government paid for. When things got good the light above the bed fell on her face causing nose, mouth, tooth and psychological injuries, Her claim was initially denied based on the fact her employer, the government, felt they should have told she planned on getting some action.

Her attorney argued that she should be compensated saying, "If it happens at the place the employer has encouraged you to be for the evening, and doesn't involve gross misconduct or self-harm, why shouldn't it be."

The appeals court who took her side compared her fun to an injury during a card game. The court said, "engaged in sexual activity rather than some other lawful recreational activity while in her hotel room does not lead to any different result”.
