The newest version of our friendly neighborhood web-slinger is different than his filmic predecessors in many ways, a big one being his lack of the traditional Spidey Sense, which alerts him to the presence of dangers he can’t immediately see. Homecoming director Jon Watts explained that the decision to leave his sixth sense out of the movie was very much on purpose.
