Happy Mother's Day 2013. It's a day for saluting the women who have brought children into the world, raised them and put them on the path to the life they have chosen. In some instances, that life is rock and roll and a number of top rockers are offering up Mother's Day wishes to their own mothers as well as the other mothers out there.
The couple that plays together, stays together! A rock music rarity took place during Bush's set at the 23rd annual KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas at the Gibson Ampitheatre in Los Angeles on Dec. 8. Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale was joined onstage by his wife Gwen Stefani, a successful artist in her own right as the singer of No Doubt and as a solo act who has churned out hit after hit.
When Bush disbanded in 2002, frontman Gavin Rossdale formed a new band called Institute. Institute released one album before Rossdale moved on to his solo career, releasing ‘Wanderlust’ in 2008. Now in 2012 Rossdale is back in Bush, where he feels he truly belongs.
