Unless you have been living under a rock the last 24 hours, you have probably heard by now that the Baltimore Ravens terminated Ray Rice's contract and the NFL suspended him indefinitely after TMZ released the video of Rice punching his wife in the face in a casino elevator back in February.

In what may be the least romantic marriage proposal ever, for the big moment this guy took his future wife to the practice facility of the NFL's Baltimore Ravens. In his defense, though, she is a huge Ravens fan. So, we are going to let it slide this time. But anyway, back to the story.

Finally the 2013 NFL season is ready to kick-off so it’s time to party. I love this time of the year, Football is starting, Baseball is in the home stretch and the NHL is right around the corner. For a sports fan I don’t think there any better time of the year.

Over the weekend Elvis Dumervil signed a deal to play with the Baltimore Ravens. The Pro Bowl defensive end got a five-year deal worth $35 million. Courtney Lenz, a five year veteran of the Baltimore Ravens cheerleading squad, is claiming the team left her off the trip to the Super Bowl because of her "slight weight gain." Oh deer! Sorry, I meant dear. Force of habit with this squad.

The San Francisco 49ers rallied past the Atlanta Falcons for the NFC title, and the Baltimore Ravens upset the New England Patriots for the AFC crown.
