It's hard for most of us in Northern Colorado to think about life without bicycles. As soon as the weather got nice and we were all forced to figure out other options for recreation to be safer-at-home, everyone wanted a bike. Many of our kids needed new bikes this season.

Just like that, lower-end bikes were being ordered on Amazon and bought from the stores much faster than suppliers could get them made and through the currently clogged international delivery systems.

The New York Times reports that " by the end of April, many stores and distributors had sold out of low-end consumer bikes. Now, the United States is facing a severe bicycle shortage as global supply chains, disrupted by the coronavirus outbreak, scramble to meet the surge in demand."

It's a sellers market if you have some bikes you want to part with. I've had better luck lately selling stuff with Facebook Marketplace, over Craigslist.
