Pet owners in Mesa County have a low-cost spay and neuter program now available. Spring not only brings new flowers and the odd snow storms but also new litters of puppies and kittens.

The Mesa County Animal Welfare Partnership and some local veterinarians are working together to offer spay and neuter vouchers for Mesa County pet owners. The vouchers are on a first come first serve basis and are good through September 30.

Each year pets that are not spay or neutered get knocked up and surprise their families with a new litter. This program is set up help pet owners take care of their pets and stop the unwanted litters.

The veterinarians below are the ones you should contact if you are in need of a voucher.
