Western Colorado was beginning to wonder if we were ever going to see snow. Weren't we wearing shorts and flip flops just yesterday? Well, it's finally here. Look what's going on at the higher elevations.

Be careful what you wish for. Ski resorts love this. Drivers, not so much. Be careful out there.

At least we're not Wyoming. Did you see the reports of 100+ inches of snow in some areas? That's plenty. More than plenty.

Perhaps we shouldn't be too surprised. Colorado crews broke out the first snow plow back on September 20.

Most of your favorite Colorado ski resorts projected opening days for either Thanksgiving or the day before. Well, those deadlines are being met with welcome snow.

If you're traveling this weekend, take it easy. Stay in touch with CDOT and their various live view cameras.
