According to the Grand Junction Police Department, an alleged armed robbery took place at approximately 12:35 a.m. Saturday at the Bradley Sinclair, 233 North Avenue in Grand Junction.A male suspect threatened the clerk with a black handgun and ordered the clerk to give him cash from the register. The suspect left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The GJPD are describing the suspect as a black male in his early thirties, 5 foot 5 inches tall, medium build, and some facial hair. The suspect was wearing dark pants and a white hooded sweatshirt with writing on it.

No injuries were reported.

Grand Junction Police say the investigation is ongoing.
