According to Motorcycle Roads website, and their riders, Colorado highway 141 and The Unaweep-Tabeguache Byway is..."it's easily the most colorful route in the state, surely that I've ever been on,"  "This is one great ride. Very scenic ride through canyons with huge red sandstone bluffs that will take your breath away".  That was enough to get me out of my apartment on this beautiful Sunday.

I don't have my bike anymore but even in the truck, it was well worth the effort. I keep discovering great roads around Junction and I'm very close to getting back in the saddle. That's another story, today is about my trip down highway 141 and the Unaweep-Tabeguache Byway. It's a road I'm sure most of you are very familiar with but perhaps it's been some awhile since you've made the trip. Here are a few snapshots. They hardly do it justice. I could have taken dozens.

Winter is approaching. For the most part, it doesn't lend itself to great driving, let alone riding, so take a Sunday road trip. It's relaxing a nice break from the everyday norm.
