I noticed something bizarre while looking over the city of Grand Junction's employment page. There are currently 4 positions available. Police officer, part-time EMT, waste-water treatment technician and golf course spray technician. Guess which one pays the least?

According to the city's website, the EMT position pays between $14.07 and $16.45 per hour. On the other hand, the golf course spray technician offers a wage between $22.36 and $25.89. I understand that the EMT position is part-time, but wow.

There is a possibility that I'm simply misunderstanding something cause - well, I'm slow sometimes. However, as I read it, you're better off working on your golf course maintenance skills than CPR. Time to go rent Caddyshack again.
