Dinner and a Movie Tonight “Rope”

Tonight for “Dinner and a Movie” at the Avalon Theater the Alfred Hitchcock thriller “Rope” staring Jimmy Stewart. This is the story of Brandon and Philip, two young men who share a New York apartment. They consider themselves intellectually superior to a classmate David Kentley and as a consequence decide to murder him. Together they strangle David with a rope and placing the body in an old chest, they proceed to hold a small party. The guests include David's father, his fiancée Janet and their old schoolteacher Rupert from whom they mistakenly took their ideas. As Brandon becomes increasingly more daring, Rupert, played by Jimmy Stewart, begins to suspect.

This is a great thriller and you can see it back on the big screen tonight at the Avalon Theater. The doors are 7pm and two people can get in free with a dinner recipe from downtown. If you don’t want to do dinner the movie will cost you just $5.
