Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week, Hit and Run Suspect Sought
The Grand Junction Police Department is attempting to locate a suspect in a hit and run at the Rimrock Walmart.
On Sunday, August 2, the suspect intentionally ran his truck into a vehicle in the Walmart parking lot at 2545 Rimrock Avenue.
The male suspect is believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s about 6-feet tall with brown hair and a full beard. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black t-shirt, jeans and a backwards facing baseball cap.
The truck the suspect was driving is a white crew cab with black trim.
A surveillance photo from the store shows the man was with a female companion and young child around the time of the hit and run.
