When is comes to beer, my favorite beverage, Colorado sits pretty high in the rankings. Over the past 10 years or so, the craft beer scene has exploded in every state, and one of those leading the way is our beautiful state of Colorado.

Our fine state now has well over 200 craft breweries and has some of the best beer festivals in the country.

From early spring to late summer you can road trip around Colorado and enjoy some of the best beers in the world.

Beer lovers have heard of breweries like Oskar Blues, Breckenridge and Avery, but there are a host of smaller start-up breweries that you many not know.

Plus, we have a number of breweries in our backyard like Palisade, Kannah Creek and Suds Brothers that brew some tasty beers.

It seems as though every community has a brewery with their own twist on a classic ale, IPA or lager and these are very good beers.

I know some people just like to stay in their safe zone when it comes to beer but you should really try to step out of that frame.

Colorado has some of the best beers in the world that you should try. We are fortunate to live in a place where you can do a beer world tour and never need a passport.
