Colorado lawmakers have cleared the first hurdle in allowing the use of medical Marijuana for those on probation or parole. Thursday a bill to change the state policy got preliminary approval in the House.
Marijuana growers in Colorado could come under more scrutiny if a new bill can make it to the Governors desk. The bill is designed to crack down on the unregulated growers who grow large amounts and do not pay taxes.
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) could soon be treated with medical Marijuana. The Colorado Board of Health will hear a request to add PTSD to the list of conditions that medical Marijuana can treat.
Legislators pass a measure that will prohibit the use of welfare benefits cards at marijuana shops and sent it to the Governor to be signed. As expected the measure passed the House and Senate without any issues and should be signed.
