Yesterday was Throwback Thursday, so I probably should have written this then, but I forgot, so we shall call this Fallback Friday! The reason it has a retro feel is because this is actually a song I wrote last season as the Broncos prepared to face Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. But since the Broncos are heading into the AFC Championship Game against Brady and his team this weekend I thought I would revive it.

It's hard to believe, but just two years ago, we were in the middle of Tebow-Mania, and I personally blame Tom Brady for ruining it. Right in the middle of Tim Tebow doing some of the most magical things we have ever seen in the NFL, Tom Brady put a couple of absolute beat downs on the Tebow-led Broncos. The final one came in the playoffs, and was the last time the Broncos played a game without Peyton Manning as a quarterback, so all is not bad.

But when the Broncos went to play the Patriots last year there was still a bad taste in my mouth after what Mr. Brady and done to us the year before (and also that is almost perfect in every damn way). So I sat down, wrote a few lyrics to Styx's hit "Lady," and had a few of my radio buddies sing an ode to Tom Brady. Unfortunately, the song hasn't work, and the Patriots have beat the Broncos 4 times in a row, but I will keep trying!

WARNING!!! We are not professional singers, so this may hurt your ears a bit, we will just say it's more about my writing than my singing... You've been warned!

LYRICS:

Brady When I see you I’m frowning
You give meeeeee the creeps
Your Hair gives me jealous feelings
You’re pretty, and you always get laid

Brady from the moment I see you, all I dooooooo is groan
You came and gave us such a beat down
So bad, it hurt my pubic bone

You’re Tom Brady
Of New England
You’ll whine and even cry
When Peyton, comes and shows you
How it feels to be…

Brady gets my girlfriend all horny
Showing allllll his charms
But this week, when she lays down beside me
She’ll kiss me, thanks to Peyton’s arm

Sorry Tom Brady
Of New England
You’ll whine and even cry
When Peyton, comes and shows you
How it feels to be…
Brady
