    EASY MORNINGS

Summer vacation means no more having to rouse kids from their slumber, getting them awake, dressed, to the breakfast table, and out the door. Some nice, peaceful, relaxed mornings are on the way.

    NO MORE SCHOOL ZONE CONGESTION

For parents who drop their kids off and pick them up after school, summer means not having to fight the congestion that is inevitable before and after school. No waiting - or worrying about being late-- and no early morning and afternoon congestion.

    SUMMER VACATION

The kids are out so that means vacation time can't be far away, whether it's a camping trip to the mountains, a drive vacation within a day's drive of Grand Junction, or a trip to Disneyworld and the beach. It doesn't really matter where the vacation is as long as it's out of town.

    MORE CASH ON HAND

Let's face it. It's more costly to get kids educated than it used to be. School supplies, clothes, fees, projects, lunches, athletics - it all adds up quickly. The summer break should give the ole' bank balance a chance to bounce back on to the plus side and maybe get you a little bit of a cushion.

    MORE SLEEP &TV TIME

Every parent has been there -- you just finish up with dinner, only to learn that THE big test is tomorrow and your kid has not studied at all. You become the human flash card and devote the rest of your evening to making sure your child's brain is filled with all of the necessary information. Your favorite TV show will have to wait - as will your pillow.
